Privacy policy

1. Who processes the data

The data controller is BUMBU Development LTD, company number (UIC) 207448741, VAT number BG207448741, registered office: 5A 5th Street, Obelya, 1387 Sofia, Bulgaria.

For anything about personal data: office@bumbu.eu.

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data you send us yourself. Through the “Book a demo” form, this is:

• name, company and role;
• number of employees;
• email and, if you choose, phone number;
• the service you are interested in and a description of the process;
• the demo day and time, if you picked one in the calendar on this site.

If you request the checklist “Which process should you give to AI first?”, we collect your email and, if you choose, your name, only to send it to you, on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We do not collect data about how you use the site: no analytics, no ads, no tracking (see Cookies).

3. Why and on what legal basis

• to answer your enquiry and arrange a demo: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
• to keep the correspondence after you contact us: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

4. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for [period] after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. Then the data is kept as required by the contract and the law. We keep the email for the checklist for [period] or until you withdraw your consent, which you can do at any time by writing to office@bumbu.eu.

5. Who else sees the data

Only providers who help us run the website and email, under contract and with security measures:

• Hetzner Online GmbH: the website server, in Germany or Finland;
• Google (Google Workspace): the email we reply from;
• Cloudflare: the domain and DNS;

As far as it depends on us, the data stays in the European Union. If a provider processes it outside the EU, this is done under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time for:

• access to your data and a copy of it;
• correction of inaccurate data;
• erasure (the “right to be forgotten”);
• restriction of processing;
• data portability;
• objection to processing based on legitimate interest.

Write to office@bumbu.eu. We reply within one month.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg).

7. Security

The site runs over HTTPS only. Access to the data is limited to the people at BUMBU who answer enquiries. Backups are stored outside the server.

8. Changes

When this policy changes, we update the date above. For significant changes we will let you know if we are in contact with you.
